What to Bring: Adults
Sometimes we have parents that wish to attend a camp out from time to time and are unsure of what to bring. As the troop provides tents for scouts but not adults, here is a basic list of gear you should have in order to stay with the troop on a campout. A few of the things you will on this list will mirror what we ask the scouts to have.
- A Tent, a 2-3 person tent is best for fall/early winter
- A sleeping pad and bag. An inflatable pad with memory foam is like sleeping on a mattress. Sleeping bags are rated for lowest temperature use, a Coleman 20 degree bag "should" be warm enough for weather that dips into the low 30's with proper sleep wear.
- Mess kit for food and drink and water bottle
- Flashlight
