Love Never Ends…
An open letter to BSA Troop 113, Somerset, NJ Dear Friends, Alex Criscione was a loyal member of Troop 113 committed to the values of community, service to others, outdoorsmanship, leadership, and a friend to all. Alex served his fellow scouts in the troop as quartermaster, patrol leader, guide, and more. Alex was always ready to lend a hand on a campout, to demonstrate a skill, or to do whatever it took to make it better for everyone else. He pioneered service projects that aided hurricane victims, and was always on the forefront of helping those less fortunate. Alex mastered his outdoor skills and was at home in nature. His trips to Philmont and Sea Base were pivotal in his scouting career, and in his personal life. Alex loved life, and he loved people. The Alex4Ever Fund is dedicated that spirit of love, community, and family. Our mission is to help families along their journey as they navigate the long and winding roads of pediatric cancer, and blood disorders. The day to day life of a cancer patient can always use something extra, like a smile. Our goal is to supply patients and families at the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital with items they need to make their days a bit easier and more comforting. That may be a simple personal care kit for a family member; a blanket or pillow to hug for a child, or a special wish gift. Through your scouting service projects, you can help us help others. There is always something you can do, there is always a project to do, and there is always a family in need. Reach out to us to discuss your ideas or projects. Together, we can lend a hand.
